摘要:
立体匹配是从双目图像中提取深度信息的算法,全局算法中的置信传播在消息传递时存在过度传播问题,过度传播反应在视差图的边缘区域模糊。本文首先用Canny算子提取参考图像的边缘,视差不连续区域几乎都能被Canny算子检测出来,用Canny边缘阻止传递过程中消息跨过视差不连续区域,从而改善匹配效果。另外,本文按照线段长度阈值对提取的边缘进行修剪,删除一些可能由图像噪声引起的边缘。通过分析使用Canny前后提取的视差图,可以得出结合Canny边缘后置信传播算法在视差不连续区域的匹配效果有所改善,且在算法迭代次数较大的情况下误匹配率降低更明显。

Abstract:
Stereo Matching is the process that extract depth information from binocular image.One of global algorithm is Belief Propagation, however the algorithm has a over-propagated problem when transmits messages. The problem reflects in fuzzy on edge regions of disparity image. Because regions of discontinuous disparity almost can be detected by canny operator, this paper uses canny operator to extract image edges, then uses edges to prevent transmitting messages on regions of discontinuous disparity. In addition, this paper cuts some edge lines according to the threshold of lines' length, to delete the edge caused by noise. After analyse the disparity images of original and combined canny belief propagation, the matching effect on regions of discontinuous disparity is improved, and the matching error rate is lower when the iteration number is big.
