摘要:
文章先对无线通信中经常使用到的RS差错控制码的性能及其编解码算法进行详细的论述,然后深入分析了RS编解码的实现平台TMS320C6747 DSP的内核结构,并将该平台与通用处理器平台进行对比,体现出DSP平台在复杂算法方面存在的优势以及其存在的极大译码优化空间,最后在该DSP平台上,不改变译码算法的前提下,对RS译码进行优化,得到了比较满意的结果,数据表明优化后的译码速度比未进行优化的译码速度快了20倍左右。

Abstract:
The paper first gives a detail introduce to the performance and the coding and decoding algorithm of Reed Solomon (RS) code, which is commonly used in the wireless communication. Then, the paper makes an in-depth analysis to the kernal architecture of the realize platform, TMS320C6747 DSP chip. Furthermore, we take a comparison between the DSP platform and the general processor platform. The previous analysis shows that, the DSP platform is good at the processing of complex algorithm and there is great potential for the optimization of RS code. Finally we realized the optimization of the RS code without changing the decode algorithm, and obtained good performance, the decoding speed after optimization is about 20 time faster.
