摘要:
随着4G技术的快速发展,3GPP组织提出了LTE-Advanced(Long Term Evolution Advanced)技术标准,以满足国际电信联盟的IMT-Advanced标准。本文概述了LTE-Advanced系统的基本情况和网络部署过程中所面临的成本和网络覆盖等问题,并针对这些问题提出了在基站(eNB)与中继节点(relay node)之间使用RoF(Radio over Fiber)技术实现信号中继的技术方案,最后通过Matlab软件仿真对比使用RoF技术的中继技术和传统无线中继技术的性能优劣,证明使用RoF技术的LTE-Advanced中继系统更安全可靠、性能更好。

Abstract:
With the rapid development of 4G technology, 3GPP proposed the Long Term Evolution Advanced to reach the IMT-Advanced standard of International Telecommunication Union. In this paper, the network architecture of Long Term Evolution Advanced and some problems of eNB about network coverage and cost are summarized. The radio relaying system that employ radio over fiber technology between eNB and relay node is proposed. Finally, the relaying system employ Rayleigh fading channel and optical fiber channel are simulated by Matlab software. The simulation result demonstrate that RoF technology makes LTE radio relaying system more reliable.
