1、正确（correctness):选择正确的词或词组。

示例24-1避免俗语和难懂的话

3、简洁（concision):文字要简要，删繁从简（系例24-2)。要用 简洁、短句子来表达（示例24-3)。去掉多余的词（示例24-4)。

MThere is ample evidence indicating that smoking is a risk factor for cancer” 应该简化为 “Smoking is a risk factor for cancer’’。

4、完整性和逻辑性（completion and logic)。写论文就像讲故事， 不仅要注意句子完整，论述的“故事”也要完整（示例24-5)。特别要 注意有逻辑地表达“故事”。

[不完整] The yield was higher using bromine.
[完整] The yield was higher using bromine than chlorine.
5、 —致性（consistency)。
