摘要:
为了研究纳米压痕的压头尺寸效应,本文采用分离式拟质点多尺度方法对多种单晶材料(铜、铝和银)的纳米压痕问题进行了研究。研究表明,对于不同的压头宽度,三种材料的荷载-位移响应曲线都表现出明显的差异性。压头的宽度越大,弹性阶段的曲线斜率也越大,材料发生塑性变形的临界载荷也越大,其对应的临界压头位移也越大,发生位错形核的时间也越晚。材料出现塑性变形之后,其荷载值将开始下降,材料出现位错形核。金属铜薄膜和金属铝薄膜的载荷-位移曲线只经历了一次的降低过程,而金属银薄膜则呈现出多次起伏变化。

Abstract:
In order to study the size effect in nano-indentation, this paper adopts separate quasi-particle multiscale method to study the nano-indentation problem of single crystal material, such as copper, aluminum and silver. The simulation results show that for the different widths, the displacement-response curve of three materials shows a distinct difference. For the greater width indenter, the load-displacement curve in elastic stage has a bigger curve slope, a larger load critical corresponding to plastic deformation, a larger critical displacement of indenter, and a later time appearing the dislocation nucleation. After the plastic deformation occurs, the load value will begin to decrease, and the dislocation nucleation appears in the material. The load-displacement curve for the single copper and aluminum only has a reduction process, while shows a multiple fluctuation for the single silver.
