本文提供了两个嵌入的diamond和的不可定向亏格的反例.这表明论文"Orientable and nonorientable genera for some completetripartite graphs"(SIAM J. Discrete Math.18(3) (2004),479-487.) 中的方法不能证明定理3.3(ii-iii).文中给出了此定理某些情形下的证明.

Abstract：
This paper provides two counterexamples for thenonorientable genus of the diamond sum of two embeddings, whichshows that Theorem 3.3 (ii-iii) can not be proved by the method usedin the paper "Orientable and nonorientable genera for some completetripartite graphs"(SIAM J. Discrete Math.18(3) (2004),479-487.) A new proof of the Theorem is given for certain cases.
